Managed Care Insurance
The physicians at Mt. Auburn OB/GYN participate with several managed care plans. If you are covered under one of these plans, we will file a claim for you.
Many managed care plans require the insured to obtain a referral from their primary care physician (PCP) before being treated by a specialist. Please confirm this requirement with your insurance company and obtain any necessary referral from your PCP prior to your appointment. Patients who are required to have a referral from their PCP but fail to do so will be asked to sign a waiver (if applicable) acknowledging personal responsibility for all charges associated with the non-referral service.
All co-payments are due at the time of service.
Co-payments, benefits, and administrative procedures differ among insurance companies. Please contact your insurance carrier or plan administrator if you have any questions regarding co-payments, referral requirements, benefits, or for a list of participating physicians.
Private/Commercial Insurance Plans
Payment is due at the time of service for routine office visits. As a courtesy, we will file a claim for these services and have the benefits paid directly to you.
No Insurance/Self-Pay Patients
Payment in full is due at the time of service for office visits. Budget payment plans can be arranged for non-routine services by calling the billing office at 229.3903.

Please bring your insurance information and all necessary authorizations from your insurance company and primary care physician, if appropriate.
